Wordpress Move Complete!

The move to Wordpress is complete. You should start seeing posts around Thursday of this week on the new site. We will be migrating some content to the new site over time. Please update your bookmarks to the new address:

Wordpress Progress Update

Howdy everyone...Hope your home projects are going fantastic!

Just wanted to give a little update on our move to Wordpress. The plan is to resume home-related posts once Wordpress is setup. So, in the meantime, you'll get updates on that process.

Two nights ago we completed the server setup and moved http://www.oneprojectcloser.com/ to new nameservers with the web hosting provider. The friend who's helping me through the conversion found a great way to re-point "index.html" to the Blogger version of OPC, while WordPress runs at index.php. So, if you want to check out the progress of the new site, you can visit: http://www.oneprojectcloser.com/index.php. Right now, only the header has been converted over to look closely identical to the one on Blogger. (The advantage of this is that links that point to http://www.oneprojectcloser.com/ will come to Blogger until everything is complete with Wordpress, then they'll seamlessly switch to Wordpress).

One Project Closer Wordpress Migration (Finally)

Just an FYI: Thanks to the help of Jim at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity we are in the process of migrating to WordPress. I hope to have the move completed by Sunday evening.

If you are linking to this site, please use http://www.oneprojectcloser.com/ as opposed to the blogspot address. The http://www.oneprojectcloser.com/ url will continue to forward to blogspot until the new server is up and running, at which time the blogspot address will be obsoleted and the new site will take over seamlessly... at least that's the theory.

I'll post a final message here when the move is complete so that feed subscribers can switch their feeds to the new source.
